Candle Care

First Burn Matters

When lighting your candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface.
This may take 2–3 hours.

Allowing a full melt pool prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.

 

Trim the Wick

Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately 5mm.

This helps to:

  •   Prevent excessive smoke

  •   Maintain a steady flame

  •   Extend the life of your candle

Keep the Wax Clean

Ensure the wax pool remains free from:

  •   Wick trimmings

  •   Dust

  •   Debris

This promotes a clean, safe burn.

Candle Safety

  • Candles are an open flame and should always be used responsibly.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended

  • Keep away from children and pets

  • Do not place near flammable materials

  • Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface

  • Keep away from drafts, vents, and open windows

  • Do not move a candle while it is lit or while wax is hot

  • Keep candles spaced at least 10cm apart if burning multiple

  • Always extinguish candles safely using a snuffer or by gently blowing out the flame.
